What is the waiting list for a young person getting a driving test

Me and my colleague Thomas Keliher are both seventeen and doing our driving lesson but the waiting list for a driving test is annoying to say the least .
Young people are eager to get their license and get driving but there is one obstacle in their way the waiting list for Irish driving test . At the moment when a young person completes their 12 driving lessons there is a significant waiting list, the waiting list could be up to at least 3 months! This is quite literally beyond a joke for any young person trying to get on the road as that is a lot of time to have to wait before they have completed their last driving lesson which would mean that they would have forgotten a lot of the crucial information that is included in a driving test which would mean they would have to pay for another lesson or go straight for the test and risk failing and could possibly have to wait another 2 or 3 months . Simon Harris has mentioned it in Dail Eireann but no further action has been taken since . This waiting list is an issue affecting thousands across Ireland and needs to be resolved.
