Review of Sureanu Ski Slopes

I recently had the pleasure of skiing at the Șureanu slopes, located in a stunning and relatively undiscovered mountain setting in Romania. The experience was remarkable, and here are some key aspects of this destination:

1. Location and Scenery:

The slopes are nestled in the Șureanu Mountains, offering breathtaking views and an unspoiled natural environment. While access can be somewhat challenging, requiring a 4x4 vehicle for the final stretch of the journey, the effort is well worth it once you arrive.

2. Slope Quality:

The Șureanu ski complex features several slopes of varying difficulty levels, catering to both beginners and advanced skiers. The slopes are well-maintained, with high-quality natural snow thanks to the high altitude. The ski lifts and chairlifts operate efficiently, ensuring a steady flow of skiers on the slopes.

3. Facilities and Services:

There are a few chalets and restaurants in the area, providing accommodation and dining options. The facilities are modest but comfortable and sufficient for skiers' needs. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

4. Prices:

Prices for slope access and equipment rental are competitive, making Șureanu an attractive option compared to more well-known and crowded resorts. The value for money is excellent, given the quality of the snow and the scenic environment.
