Regardless of the activities undertaken, humans can harm nature by discharging toxic substances into water, contaminating soil, and releasing polluting gases into the atmosphere. By endangering nature, humans endanger themselves. Although pollution is an inevitable phenomenon in many respects, it could be controlled and, at some point in the future, even reduced. As idealistic and perhaps overly ambitious as it may sound for the present moment, zero pollution is a goal that humanity as a whole should aspire to for the betterment of all.

Of course, in practice, everything is more complicated. Currently, we do not have the technology and science necessary to transform this dream into reality. Nonetheless, by working together, there is a possibility that we will eventually achieve the closest relationship to perfection between humans and the environment. Every gesture, no matter how small, matters, having a profound impact on the overall picture we are trying to shape.
