Buy your clothes in a zero waste shop
Some products are made of a special wool so they don’t need to be washed often, you just need to let it air and the smell goes away. And the fabric like wool, cotton, are natural and organic, and they produce on demand so they don’t have stock so no waste.
But why is it hard to shop 100% sustainably?
Being 100% eco friendly isn’t that easy, some materials like fiber aren’t sustainable and cotton use a lot of water. On top of that local and sustainable products often cost more and aren’t easy to find.
There’s also a lack of awareness. Many people don’t know the impact of what they buy that’s why « Les trois tricoteurs » help everyone make better choices.
Replacing plastic with sustainable fabric
did you know that beeswax can also help reduce plastic production?
Some people are replacing plastic wrap with beeswax wrapping. This eco-friendly packaging made from cotton and natural beeswax is natural and reusable. At school this week us Irish and French eco-reporters made some to see how practical and easy it is to help to preserve the planet.
And what are your ideas to reduce plastic and waste?
