Exploring religious places didn't sound appealing to me. I'm a 16-year-old with no interest in such things, but after this trip I was shocked by how enjoyable it was.

Going on a pilgrimage was never something I wanted to do. My dad asked me to join him on this very randomly and I said yes, not really thinking about the decision. Now here I am writing an honest review of this journey.

This trip lasted 3 days. On day one, everything went as expected. We arrived at the Ben Gurion airport, which is named after the 1st prime minister of Israel, got our luggage, boarded our bus and went to visit the Cana Catholic Wedding Church. I found this location pretty boring. Nothing piqued my interest. It is known as the place where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding feast. It was a tiring day and I was very excited to finally arrive at the hotel, where we had a delicious dinner and got some rest for the next day.

On day two we went to Mt. Tabor, the site of the transfiguration of Jesus. What I liked about this place was the view. It wasn't anything special, but seeing everything from so high up really amazed me. After that, we went to the Mt. of Beatitudes, which again was pretty boring. This day wasn't anything special, but we did go on a trip by boat, just sightseeing. Next, we went to the border with Jordan, where I must say the staff were really rude, and arrived in Aman. The hotel here was gorgeous, though the food was very bland. Most of it was vegetables and there was hardly any meat.

Day three consisted of going to Petra and walking around. This was extremely tiring due to the really high temperature. After that all I could think about was going to sleep. At night we went to the Tomb of Jesus where we attended the service.

Finally, we got ready to leave and took the plane to Bucharest. Even though this trip used up all my energy, I am happy to say that I had so much fun walking around beautiful sights and being able to try out traditional dishes at all the different hotels we went to. I would definitely do this again.
