Every of us are listening to music, right ? Since its appearance, music has played a crucial role in our lives. We are listening in train stations, when we are normally walking down the street, when we are waiting for our turn at the groceries, the music is everywhere and our lives without it would be none. In this artcile we proposed to talk about the young talents from the rock industry that has developed continuously in recent years.

Some of those who were involved in the development of young talents were those from the well known WTF (Way Too Far) Rock Festival who invented a new concept that could give the young bands the chance to show their perfomance on a big stage. The concept was named Rock Battle at the Gate of Transylvania and its purpose is to bring together the most beloved bands which were chosen online following votes by the surrounding public. For preselections, they had to submit both a live performance recording and a professionally recorded studio version of their original composition . Following the preselections, eitghteen bands were selected and won the chance to show their potential on stage: Awake the Demons, Blackout, Carousel, Catun, Dezident, Hypnotical, Katharein, Lotus, Ruyned, Symphress, Twice Louder, Vathos, Wild Angels and some of the local bands from Bistrița were also selected: Besmeth, Riveria, Punkarta, Sadetica and Vice Grip. Those bands will perform starting from 15 august to 17 august at "Pietonalul Liviu Rebreanu", Bistrița. The competition will be judged by a group of jurors from various musical and organizational fields. The bands will compete one of the grand prizes on offer:

-first place : 2000 euros

-second place : 800 euros

-third place : 300 euros

-a reward for popularity : 200 euros

Moreover, there will be many individual prives:

-the best vocalist : 200 euros

-the best guitarist : 200 euros

-the best bassist : 200 euros

-the best drummer : 200 euros

-the best song message : 200 euros

At last but not least, first three places will have the chance to perform at the next edition of WTF Rock Festival that will have place at Vama Veche between 4-6 july. And the biggest announcement was the headliners. Cargo,Hara and a popular norvegian band named Evergrey will perform on the stage to the delight of public.
