Klopp's "dream end" falls to relegation survivors and neighbours Everton.

It all started when Liverpool were set for the short trip across the city to Goodison Park to face near rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby, in search of their 100th victory over the neighbours. Klopp's men ,second in the table , keep the hunt on to lift the Premier League for the second time under his management. However, an early goal from the hosts left Liverpool trailing entering half time. Liverpool showed character following the half time creating chances immediately but yet still not managing to put the ball passed the Everton keeper. A late push on from the visitors and title challengers left their defense exposed which Everton once again took the chance to convert with a goal from their striker Calvert-Lewin taking his total tally for the season to 6 goals. Liverpool leave the game 5 points off league leaders Arsenal and with hope lost in achieving their dream lifting the Premier league at the end of the season.
