During these two years, CSE has been a unique experience for me, where I’ve formed new and lasting friendships. In 2022, I took on this position, and naturally, the role of president came with certain responsibilities and various duties that pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Over the years, our high school has maintained two major traditions that genuinely bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged children: “The Christmas Sweet Bread” and “Easter with Our Loved Ones.” During these events, the executive board members and the student council volunteers collect sponsorships from local producers and beyond.

At Christmas, the “actresses” and “actors” of Teiuș Theoretical High School organize a play to raise funds for these activities. However, none of this could be achieved without all the members of the executive board, where the most important elements for successful campaigns and activities are communication and understanding.

The executive board of Teiuș Theoretical High School consists of five members: president, vice president, secretary, PR director, and treasurer. Each position has its own responsibilities to ensure everything runs smoothly. For our growth and efficient operation, our school councils were coordinated by the County Student Council, which convened us every month for a working session where each president would share the issues and activities completed or in progress from the previous month.

All these experiences helped me develop a new perspective. For me, this position was extremely beneficial as it helped me grow both personally and socially. At the school level, we held meetings with all class representatives at least once every two weeks, and always before any upcoming activity.

For campaigns, for instance, we held an initial meeting four weeks before the event to have enough time to organize everything, and then—either at the beginning or end of each week—we gathered all the involved students for a short meeting to discuss what had happened during that week. These meetings helped me overcome my fear of public speaking.
