The Global warming conspiracy is circulating around the world debating whether global warming is real or not. The theory began as early as 1988 when the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was founded. Claims broke out about the data used in global warming research and if it was being manipulated. The reason people have started to doubt the government is because they have lied multiple times like for instance the Vietnam war was not going well so the USA’s government decided to make up a lie about the war going fantastically so that more people would join the military. So as a result of the government having lied multiple times. The people of USA began doubting that the government could be trusted. Therefore conspiracy theories have thrived over the past couple of decades. This is mostly why the fake global warming conspiracy theory has made sense to some individuals.
Through facebook people made groups about the global warming conspiracy theory. The reason why they think the way they do is because they only talk to like-minded people. Henceforth they live in an information bubble with almost no contact with different opinions than they have. Which is why they never change their point of view on things like global warming.
The amount of evidence on the topic is astounding and those articles such as IPCC articles on global warming can be trusted and is well received by other scientists. For why the conspiracy is false you could just think of what would scientists get by manipulating the data of global warming research and you could look up different sources on global warming if you are not sure.

Sources can be trusted if it says .gov and https in the beginning of the link. Because then people can’t steal your data and know your location. But of course it is the government’s website so they need some of your information anyway. Another thing to look for is if it is written by theonion.com because that is sarcastic material that is not meant to be taken seriously. Of course you can look if something is purely for shits and giggles if it says on the page. But most of the time you need to look for multiple sources and see if they say the same thing.
