The trip started on Monday, we took a ferry from Rosslare to Cherbourg. The ferry took around 18 hours so we arrived on Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon, we visited the city. On Wednesday morning we went to a school called "Lycee Alexis de Tocqueville" and in the afternoon we went to a museum called "cite de la mer". In the museum there was an aquarium, a submarine used in World War 2 and a museum about the Titanic, because Cherbourg was one of the latest stops it made before it sunk. The following 2 days we also went to the school in the morning. And in the afternoon we went to a museum about military airplanes and parachutists and to an island that used to be a military fortress. The last day we went shopping in the city and took the ferry back. 

Some people would argue that going to school on holiday has no sense and is very boring. But I found it very interesting and fun. Because it was an opportunity to get to know people from a different country and know how they do their classes. Also, at the school, the first day we went, we did some kind of competition in different sports like soccer, climbing, basketball or table tennis mixed up with French people. The following day we did 2 hours of class, in my case it was Business and Physics and after we did a workshop about Normandy. The good part about it was that we got along with some French students so it was not that bad. 

Moreover, people sometimes when planning a trip find out that they have booked to much time and that they don't have anything more to do, so in my case going to this school would have killed that time. 

To conclude, we went to school on holiday, but as we got along with the people there and did workshops and activities it was not so bad.
