Me and my friend Marcus watched the movie The boy in the striped pyjamas. The movie is based on the book The boy in the striped pyjamas and it’s a movie take place in in the world war 2. I have seen the movie one time before and I think it’s a good movie and that is realistic.
It is the early 1940s and eight-year-old Bruno is forced to leave Berlin and his friends because his father - who is a big-thrower within the Nazi party - is to be stationed in the country.
From the window of his new room, Bruno sees a "farm" where the workers are dressed in striped pyjamas. His parents forbids him to go there, but Bruno still goes there and becomes friends with a boy with a shaved head who lives behind the barbed wire and is always hungry. Sadly Bruno doesn’t know that the “farm” is not a farm.
I think the movie is good and thrilling but its sad in the end. I would give the movie 4 of 5 stars because I think the movie ends to bad. You want to se what’s happened with the family. After the movie ends. I would recommend to movie because it’s a good quality movie. But if you are sensitive I would not recommend the movie because of the ending.
